Subject: Misconceptions of Insanity

way or by the person I wrote this about. This is also a rant, sort of, if

you don't have time to read it right now, please save it for later.

It has come to my attention that many people have the misconception

that insane people are drooling, retarded, stark raving mad loonies who run

around breaking windows and ranting. I would like to tell you about a little

run in I had with a person who beleives this. I was over at a friend's house

and she, her brother and I were watching a horror movie and it was quite

fun. But her brother took a cue from something in the movie and at one point

started drooling, kicking me and making strange moaning sounds. I, at this

point, was beginning to get fairly annoyed and I said "WHAT are you doing?".

to this he replied, "I'm being an insane person." That made me scream

out,"Insane people DO NOT ACT THAT WAY!!!" and hit him fairly hard. Now I am

very upset by the fact that people think we act that way. BECAUSE WE DON'T!

I think that maybe this is because of the way insane people are

portrayed on TV. I mean, have you ever seen a show in which an insane person

was NOT a raving looney who was either an a) mass murderer or b) a stark

raving looney witness to something? And have you ever talked to anyone who

didn't gasp at the fact that, "Oh yes, Mark's going to a psychologist,

didn't you know?" Or have you ever noticed that whenever someone does

something abnormal everyone always says,"well that was INSANE".

Now I think we need to find a way to change this thought. First, I

think we need to take over a TV station and show how REAL crazies act like.

Secondly, we'll tell people how insane people really act. Thirdly, we'll

"convince" anyone who needs convincing. :o) and Finally, we'll kill

everyone!!!!! muahahahahahaha!!!!! Oh sorry, just feeling a little INSANE

today.
